February 25, 2007 12:18 Fire dispatcher reported from CSX that there was a derailment with an acetone tank car involved.  4C-12
arrived on location with a chemical smell near the tracks at Gough Rd. and established command well north of the derailment on
Gough Rd.  A level 1 haz mat was called and a crew from Churchville lead by 4C-42 recon'ed the area with a thermal imaging camera
(to check if a nearby tank car was full), binoculars, Full PPE (with SCBA's) and a 4 gas meter.  The operations crew met with the CSX
conductor (on the tracks by Gough Rd) who confirmed the chemical smell was from the numerous rail ties that were damaged and
emitting creosote.  After determining no chemicals were involved and only 2 empty box cars were involved, the level 1 was
downgraded to a level 0.  The acetone car was near the engine's and not involved in the derailment and the only other tank car was
empty (previously filled with Veg. Oil).  After investigation by the Monroe county Sheriffs the scene was turned over to CSX.  Bergen
fire provided a fill in to Churchville.
March 4, 2007 05:00 hours Churchville sent 2 pumpers, 1 tanker and an ambulance to the scene of a structure fire in Bergen on
Route 19.  Gates Co 3 filled in at Churchville.  Brockport sent 1 pumper and a ladder to the scene and 1 pumper to fill in Bergen.
Mumford and Morton operated at the scene with pumper tankers.  Chili filled in at Bergen, Spencerport/Hamlin filled in at Brockport.
Genesee county and Orleans county had too many departments to list with tankers.
Command of this incident was Bergens Chief 301/Churchvilles Chief 4C-12 (had to have 2 because of different radio systems until a
patch was sent up).   An exterior attack was called early on due to fire load/volume, construction, and low water pressure.  Problems
with the water pressure force a lengthy pumper relay on the south side operations.
South side operations consisted of Churchvilles deputy chief  4C-22/Bergens deputy chief 302 .  The south side pumper relay
consisted of 2 churchville pumpers and 2 additional pumpers to feed multiple master streams including Leroy's tower.
North side operations consisted of Brockport 2C-13 & 2C-23/Bergen Deputy chief 303 .  Bergens/Brockports equipment set up a
tanker relay on the North side to feed Brockports aerial and multiple master streams.  North side operations were hampered by
overhead high voltage lines and low water pressure.
Water supply operations consisted of Genesee county, Monroe County Coordinators and Morton 2C-11.  CSX train operations were
halted so LDH to Leroys tower and master streams could cross the tracks.  Eventually CSX traffic resumed when Leroys tower
repositioned south of the tracks operating over the trains (you don't see this everyday).  Due to Firefighters efforts and newly
constructed additions with fire walls the west portion of the structure and newly purchased equipment was saved.

out from under the high tension wires along with high winds blowing a tree into the wires eventually cause 2 of the primaries to
explode from the pole.  Luckily crews had pedestrians clear of the area when this occurred.
February, 2007 17:20 hours 1 car MVA roll over at 1350 attridge road.  Luckily the driver was not injured (can't say the same for
their car.

assistance from Chili, Spencerport and Bergen the fire was contained and extinguished within 30 minutes, saving the entire
interconnected block of downtown Churchville.  At 10:09pm during a post-incident checkup smoke was detected in the structure and
again crews responded and performed further wetting and overhaul to make sure there was no additional danger of flare-up.
2nd day in a row Churchville Fire had to extricate a patient.  MVA roll over 8-29-2007 06:30 490 east between Attridge road and route

the door the patient was transported by Chili ambulance and Gates medic 40.  Assisting at the scene was Chili fire.  Luckily 2 passing
motorist stopped to assist because the vehicle was not visible from the expressway.  Unfortunately the car ran over a tree that was the
home of some angry bee's that bit several people until a CO2 extinguisher cooled them down.

11/2/2007 02:37 - Churchville Firefighters responded to a working fire at 47 Fairbanks Road.   Upon arrival, firefighters saw heavy
fire rising from the 2-1/2-story house and noted that the attached garage was completely engulfed in flames. The fire was under
control within 30 minutes, and no one was injured during the incident. Three people, residents of the house, all escaped safely
before firefighters arrived.  The garage and its contents were destroyed, but the portion of the house closest to the garage
sustained heavy smoke and heat damage; the remainder of the house sustained smoke damage but was largely saved thanks to
the fast actions of the firefighters responding.

An adjacent house — to the north of 47 Fairbanks Road — also suffered exposure damage with the facing vinyl siding and some
interior blinds to melting from the intense heat of the blaze.

Firefighters from Chili, Spencerport and Bergen assisted Churchville firefighters at the scene.
11-19-2007 10:45 hours Churchville fire was dispatched to East/West Lodge in the Churchville park for the mower fire.  Minutes
later 4C-12 and 4C-22 arrived to find a large mower fully involved with an exposure problem.  1 inch and three quarter foam line
took care of the mower while the inch and three quarter bumper (trash line) hit the exposure.  Luckily the hydraulic cylinders on
the mower ruptured the side wall and the end caps stayed intact.
